with the exceptionally fast shipping of my FLM parts from mike, I got my truck up and running a few days ago. Not five minutes after the first run with brand new mip cvds, I sheared one off and had to go home.

Back out with the stock plastic yolks the next day, and this thing just rips around the track! everything was really moist in the corners, and our track is packed clay so it was real thick mud - the 5800 holds up great and has killer torque out of corners. Wow, that is one sweet Pede you have there! Very nicely done, and the FLM chassis is just breathtaking, isn't it. Nice job!:D

Can you shoot a movie of it in action?

On how many cells are you using the SS5800?

I still need to retip my soldering iron, when i do that im making some 7 and 8 cell packs for it. I think the limit is 7 but ive got a fan mount to install above the esc, maybe it will handle more we shall see :) Its got crazy torque already, its geared at 16/78. Im gonna try and change that up to get more top end (not that its needed)

Ill see if i can borrow a cam to get some footage, it does jumps like a champ :D

Very nice! The stock plastic driveshafts actualy hold up very well. Just keep a couple spares for the occasional breakage.

they seem to work pretty good, the output yolks that came with the tranny are plastic but the pin goes all the way through - I have no idea who makes these but they seem to do the trick. No need for that annoying screw inside the u-joint
