The need, The Need for LiPo speed

Hey guys need your advice ,as a racer not a basher what do you guys reccommend i should buy from the large choice of Lipo,s avalible, 2s,

Connect in series for a maxx (assuming you have 2S packs).

It also depends on what ESC/motor you are running. ESCs are only rated for so high voltage-wise. And depending on the motor kv, running higher voltage could exceed the rated RPM.

If racing, you probably want a lighter setup, so I wouldn't use parallel packs unless you absolutely need long runtimes and/or need more current capacity.

If I had to opportunity to run dual packs in series, I think that I would go with two trakpower 4900 packs for a 4S setup running a mild motor for racing. Something around 2000kv on the 4S should be a good amount of power that you can get to the ground.

Of course, the battery choice also depends on how long your races are.

What motor/esc setup do you have?

True....

But don't rule out the NEU15151Y @ 2200Kv. That still a very reasonable 32,560rpm.
