First Time RC18..
 

I was at my local track last night ( www.barnstormersrc.com ) and i ran my RC18T with the MAMBA 25 brushless in it. I havent had that much fun since the last time i ran my G MAXX. It was awesome fun, Pulling some serious air. Even managed a couple of Double Back Flips - wish i had some pics or vids of it - the only other time i saw some backflips like that it was by our very own RC-Monster Mike on our outside track - That is a sight to be seen - A little RC18 doing doubles is cool - but watching a 8lb Gmaxx doing backs is awesome to say the least......

Definately go with the 18 - ( thats my opinion ) i have both - and the 4wd is just plain cool. I also beat the heck out of it the other night and the diffs are the only thing that are giving me problems ( but then again at almost 60,000rpm on my brushless ) what do i expect. It is very durable - and as mike can attest to " I tend to be hard on my vehicles " LMAO

Do the rc18s run on 6 cells GP1100 packs? Can they be side x side?

yep - they run side by side - i also have a 7 cell - i dont have the courage to run though - its way WAY too much now and the mamba25 is on its lowest power setting with max runtime -

Cool. My rc18 should be on the way. I will order some GP1100s and build a couple packs. Brushless will be later.

I carry the gp1100s, although they are not yet listed on the site. FYI.

Great. I will have to get a couple sets after I get my rc18. Now you need to get some GP3300 cells.

I have gp3300 cells! The battery packs listed on the site are gp3300s! I can get matched, high voltage sets as well, but will get those to order, as they are fairly expensive. I may have a couple sets listed on the site of these as well.
