Brushless CRT.5 on the way.....

So I went for a CRT.5 project since it seemed much durable, drivable, less costy and a bit more fun than a fully hopped up Rusty.

The funny thing is that I bought all the hop ups from Ofna for this bugger befor buying the truggy itself...seems illogical..sure does, but hey, this way I can stick myself to this project no matter what( hop ups went up to 290 dollars disregarding the ceramics and electrics, dude!) and thus, I'll have to get the truggy in the end.

Put a 1930/5 with a Mamba Max, 3s Evo25 4900 and a big pinion and boy o'boy I'll be having a missle in my hand.

I'm only waiting for Mike's chassis to come out befor I take any further actions.

I don't really know why I posted this thread, but I thought you may want to know about it....

Thanks,

Alawi El-Jifri =)

Will definitely be another sweet project. Do you plan on getting the extended chassis as well?

captain harlock 08.30.2007 10:32 AM

Yeah, I'll get the extended chassis.=)

lol... that's what I did too. Ofna hop-ups cost an arm and a leg. I paid over $100 for just the rear hubs and front knuckles.

good luck on the build.

Hey, guys, can you give me the sizes of the bearings in the truggy?
How many of each size?
What are the ones I'll throw away because of the brushless conversion?
What is the size of the bearings that comes with the rear Aluminum up rights?

Thanks!

IMO

Id do a NEU 1509 1Y I belive it is, the one with 3600 KV, its cheaper then the LMT, and esier to get

Sounds like a awsome project! But cant say on bearing sizes

captain harlock 08.31.2007 01:11 AM

Well, I've been having the 1930/5 around here for over 3 years and I haven't found a good car to use it in. If I did not have a motor from the beginning, I'd surly go for a 1506 or a 1509 motor.=)
I still need to confirm the sizes of the bearings and their quantities befor I buy everything.

Ohh, then yeah, for shure do the LMT!

Sounds like you will have a .5 like BP's .5

captain harlock 08.31.2007 01:26 AM

Yeah, it seems much like it. Coincedince, though.

If I do mine, mine will be the same but I will use the NEU and flight power 5k 25C packs

Thats would be the only diff I think

captain harlock 08.31.2007 11:24 PM

The 5000mah packs are quite big, otherwise I would've gone for them. The 4900mah are the most compact of FlightPower's.

Is there anyone who knows the sizes of the bearings that is used on the centerdiff?

They're an oddball size: 15x10x4 (OD/ID/W)

And the Maxamps 5k packs fit perfectly.

captain harlock 09.01.2007 02:30 AM

Hello....someone knows the bearing size used in the centerdiff?.....man, that's the third time.=(

BrianG 09.01.2007 02:34 AM

I answered your question in my last post, or am I not understanding your question?

captain harlock 09.01.2007 02:43 AM

Oops!!! I did not concentrate, because I thought you were replying to B.O.Revo only...sorry and thanks=)
