E-Maxx with Fast Lane arms need CVDs

I recently upgraded my E-Maxx with alloy Fast Lane arms set and I'm still using the stock U-joint drives. What CVD would work on this?

It's still suppose to fall into the category of the WideMaxx I suppose since it actually made the stance wider, though the Traxxas Steel Driveshafts for Revo/E-Maxx doesn't work.

Anybody can enlighten me on this? Any help is much appreciated.

MIP will work, UE will work,
conversion to 3.3 with sliders will work

many cheap CVDs are bit shorter. UE being longest closely followed by MIP.

Thanks

I'll look into it!

Most of the cheaper CVD's (dynamite, rdlogics) are too short. The 3.3 shafts require special turnbuckles and other steering knuckles.

yep

Serum, i figured that out a couple of weeks ago. I used the Traxxas 2.5/3.3 Steel Driveshafts with the Revo knuckles and tie-rods/turnbuckles.

Thank you for pointing that though, in the future I believe many will benefit from this info.

I am usually quicker with my replies, but my trip to the US gave some kind of delay.. ;)

I got an email from mike the other day and he said he will be making his own cvd's, just as good as any.

Great Idea

More local and high precision parts made, the better. I'll support that.
