V2 slipperential

Does anyone know anything about this? mike is not saying much about it, and I really need one.

jnev 09.28.2007 11:16 PM

I was also looking at the slipperential and was wondering the same thing. My only guess would be that Mike is swamped with customer's conversions and just doesn't have time to put the final touches on it or list it in the store.

That sucks anyway I will be first in line when there done, thanks jnev.

mkrusedc 10.05.2007 10:49 AM

Excuse my noobness but what does the slipperential do?

coolrunnings 10.06.2007 09:58 AM

It replaces your e maxx tranny with a inferno center diff, plus uses a revo spur and slipper. Its the only way to go, and now mike is making a new one that looks like it moves your slipper and motor forward by an inch or so. I am suprised you have not seen one on these on the forum here. O ps mkrusedc I had no idea you were a noobie.

Yep, but it looks like it won't be made anymore and will be replaced by V2, which you can't get yet.

Wait till you read my post here.:oops:

sjcrss 10.07.2007 06:11 PM

that is true....the V1 was replaced with the V2, due to the fact that gorillamaxx, changed the chassis, meaning there is no holes toward the back of the chassis braces for the motormount for the V1, so Mike was working on the V2, and just adapted it for use on the new gmaxx chassis

dadgummit 10.10.2007 01:36 PM

Will it fit into the FLM extended chassis?

coolrunnings 10.12.2007 05:42 PM

I don't know much at all about the V2, I am currently trying to get mike to fill us in on the thing and am waiting for his reply as we speak.

The V2 design is to fit the Revo as well as the Maxx. In order to do that, they had to change the design to clear the rear shocks.

coolhandcountry 10.13.2007 10:45 AM

I wonder if he would sell the version 1 if some one asked. They can drill the holes in chassis. :)

Getter Robo 10.13.2007 11:01 AM

Would this slipperential fit into a LST2 if a chassis plate was made for it?

sjcrss 10.30.2007 06:38 AM

CHC, he may, you should know that all that would need done if you have the new gmaxx X-braces, is the holes on the small vertical peice of metal ot the back of the brace, if that could be machined in , then the V1 would fit the new gmaxx chassis, which is the beefier X-braces, and a few other items as well....couldn't hurt to ask him....
