Losi 8ight roller...
Just noticed this buggy for sale.. no engine... $200/offer... and thought maybe someone here might be interested. The guy even said he got it to make it electric...

not bad. when I first say this thread I though you might actually be selling your converted one. especially since the rc8 just came out. :)
|
Ohh... I admit I did think about that. :)
I probably should do that, really. I may as well go all AE now that they finally have an electric 4wd... AND the RC8 too. I would have for sale: XX4 8ight BL 8ightT Nitro and 2 XXcr buggies :) |
I was looking at the RC8 this past weekend at the local hobby shop. It is one sweet looking ride! I was tempted to be the first to get one here, and do it brushless; but I got enough projects going.

I have always been a losi guy but I am considering getting rid of my 8 and picking up the rc8 or hyper8.5.
I really like my 8t but the buggy doesn't seem to do it for me. |
I want a B44 to race in MOD indoors
Darn asso, there getting good! They just need a truggy and they have everything in for a win! |
gixxer, it's kind of funny to hear your opinions on the 8 vs the 8T. I felt the exact same way. We had the buggy first and really didn't like it. I prefered my Turmoil to the 8 buggy. That almost steered me away from the 8T. What's funny is that I really love my 8T. It handle nothing like the buggy does. I couldn't drive the buggy to save my life, but the truck makes me look good.

Thats basically my problem. I tried the buggy a few times on the track and well I sucked with it. The truck was fine basically right out of the box for me.
I had a hyper 8 before the losi 8 and liked it. Makes me kinda want to pick up the hyper 8.5. |
I run my 8ight electric.. and my 8ightT nitro.
I like them both.. I'm fast with both of them (relative to my driving ability) The buggy does have a "happy" rear end and it's known to struggle on a blown out track. Truggies just don't have much trouble in rough conditions so I think that's one reason why guys like the T better. But I think the T also is a little skatey in the rear... |
