gear ratio

Hi guys,I was wondering with the lightning diffs in the hybrid bulks would I keep the same gear ratio?or am I going to have to change anything?I am running the 3.3 but bought the hybrids so in the future I can go BB.I just don't want to lose any power and also not have to change a bunch of gears,I guess my question is will the lightning diffs fit right in and give me the same power as I have now.Thanks.

they are a lower gear ratio. you'll need to increase you pinion size, and/or decrease you spur gear. there is a real nice speed/gearing calculator in the sticky section under brushless.

You can use the buggy ratio (43/13) gears which are close to the maxx gearing (37/13), than the truggy ratio (43/10). You should be able to compensate with a larger pinion or a smaller spur.

kyosho 7.5 diffs, but hardened lightning ones are one of the best
