Traxxas "NEXT" is....
|
Something to do with water given the water droplets and all. Possibly a boat or some type of H2O proof truck.
|
It will be a Brushless H2O Fuel Cell Car... Please?
...Hovercraft? ...lawsuit from Trinity? |
My guess is a brushless VXL-powered boat.
|
I hope its a car... the water could just be for effect.
|
Hopefully it's something to do with cars. It would be a bit disappointing if it's something to do with a boat.
|
I don't think it has to do with a boat at all. That would be one weird looking hull with that design, and it doesn't resemble a hull either. It looks like some kinda Revo or Jato body. The raised portion would make me believe its a car body, since that on a hull would serve no other purpose but to create drag, which would be stupid.

here is my post on traxxas forums

Traxxas just love doing this to us! I bet the employees just sit there watching the forums, having a good laugh at our ideas and speculations lol.
As for me, I hope it's a brushless Revo/E-Maxx, or something along those lines...but I really don't know. |
The fastest growing market right now seems to be 1/8th, so if they are market driven then thats what its going to be. If they are customer driven, it'll be an electric/brushless version of one of their existing trucks or cars (possibly even the 4-tec).
And now that I've thought more about it, I think it would really be a benefit to have Traxxas enter the 1/8th market. After researching which 1/8th truggy I wanted, there is really a lack of differentiating engineering technology in the 1/8th field. All of the current buggys/truggys share the same basic systems/layout, most of them resembling the mariage of a 4wd pan car with an RC10. Nothing near as advanced as the Revo, possibly even a Savage. |
Are they familiar with boats?
I thought they're only into cars and trucks.. |
what about a 1/18th rtr brushless vehicle..?
