Use a synthetic rubber glue or loctite if you can. These might help.

Shadow350Z 07.04.2005 03:08 AM

which would be best threadlocker...
blue or red?

captain harlock 07.04.2005 03:21 AM

I really cant understand what do you mean by "blue or red"?!

Promod 07.04.2005 05:11 AM

I always use the blue loctite.

Thank you,
Promod

I use blue also. You can get red lock tight which I think has another purpose (comes in bottles the red...).

(Whats with the music video in your signature? Sort of annoying).

Dafni 07.04.2005 07:03 AM

I use the blue stuff, too. Be carefull with the red brand. There are some types which fuse your screws into the threads for eternity.

(agree with Nick about the sig)

RC-Monster Mike 07.04.2005 09:39 AM

Definately the blue locktite. The red stuff is too strong (will likely not get the setscrew back out without stripping it).

maxxdude1234 07.04.2005 12:06 PM

Don't get any loctite (blue or red) on the inside of the pinion hole. It sticks the pinion to the motor shaft and makes it very hard to get off.....I know

RC-Monster Mike 07.04.2005 12:23 PM

Good point! A little goes a long way.

Dafni 07.04.2005 12:36 PM

Yep, I learned this the hard way, too. Less is more, as we say.
In the worst case, a heatgun is your friend ;)

Shadow350Z 07.04.2005 03:29 PM

dont need locktite no more
i got Robinson racing pinion and the set screw is different from the stock pinion setscrews so i jus changed it and it auto locks sorta by itself
oh yeah
does Brushless motors sound like sorta a whistle?
louder than brushed right?
sorry bout the music video
Mike removed it for me
i"m guessing you guys dont like hiphop

I wish I could run stock on my Titans but I can't, lol. :(
