What I liked was the weather proof boxes. It would have been nice if the ESC would handle more seeing as it's weather proof also.

I wanna know how many of the new parts are compatible with the old e-maxx, like if I can switch out my chassis for the new one and fit lithiums in it.

The new E-Maxx looks awesome! I am going to buy one, So much for my E-revo conversion :P. Ill just convert the New Emaxx to brushless.

Ext Chassis, New diffs (they arent stock revo ones), New tranny, And waterproof. Gonna be sweet

update: METAL reinforced bulkheads i dont think they fit the older model though they seem different around the shock tower area but I want the whole truck anyway, ill just transfer over my upgrades that actually fit and make my old E-maxx a crawler. (gotta do something with my K-rocks tires........)
Bigger spur couple of smaller pinions and 2 spools and 2 speeds ( for those that dont know what to do with the old max) or throw a set of street tires
play with gearing a little and drag race nitro cars for fun (have done this )
way to much fun running them over.......

with the metal reinforced bulk heads, nothing has changed they are refering to the metal X brace between the skid plate and bulks. This didnt come on the very first t-maxx's but did come on the very first e-maxx's and traxxas also updated everyone t-maxx when they did this due to everyone breaking bulk head at first.
