This may seem basic, but before I started experimenting how do I soften the brake on my esc? What setting would you recommend?

i set my brake to high and then dial it out as needed with my radio. turn the drag brake off and turn freewheel on.

Thanks. If I let go any on the throttle in the air the truck dips forward from the hard brake that I get. If you have seen may "great jumping" vids you can seen what I mean.

You need to turn the freewheel on. Sounds like its not.

In addition, I found the brakes to be very strong w/ the big Neu 1515. I set my brake to lightest, and then used EPA to turn down more to where I liked it.

Drag brake I usually leave off bashing, but its helpful to have some for racing. Helps the turning as well. See what you like w/ this.
