any ideas for a center diff?

i have a project e-maxx/5th scale, it needs a center diff or a slipper, but i haven't got a clue what to use. I'm not looking to spend more than what an e-maxx tranny costs....any help? thanks ppl

HB Lightning diff would be my choice. It is pretty cheap, mounts are in the RC-M store, and a Kyosho spur will fit no problem so hardened pinions aren't needed.

+1 to that. Just add a little imagination like this:

Candyman used an OFNA centre, but the principle is the same.

Technically speaking any of the centre diff converions would work- you just have to buy the matching bearing support that goes with the particular motor/CD mount, and mount it to the chassis. The only limitation would be centre shafts/dogbones, but Mike can custom make them to any length, so its no biggie.
