EOS5i Upgrade
 

FYI If you have an "older" EOS5i AC/DC that doesn't support the A123 pack - I just contacted BPP and they can "patch/flash" them to support the new packs.

I know I've bought a bit from them but they are also doing this for free ($7 towards return shipping) which is also pretty cool.

It is great to find good/honest commited vendors like Mike and Troy...

Thanx for that info. I've been waiting on someone to post on the subject or ask the question. Could you elaborate on BPP though and possibly pass on that contact number or e-mail address.

thats good to know. I have a 1210i that doesn't support a123 cells. Guess if I decide to try some of those cells out I will just send in my charge to be updated.

I do too, got it at a discount as well :D I'll send it in if I decide to use A123s.
