revo specs slipper for e-maxx
3 Attachment(s)
decided to make my own slipper with the new t-maxx upgrade kit (5351X) since I was hoping they where going to release the same kit for the e-maxx but not sure if they will and didn't want to wait. Only thing I had to do was drill a hole for the slipper pin at the correct location and I removed the cooling fins on the slipper (didn't have a choise as i'm using a gorillamaxx mount and didn't have much room to play with) Other than that I put some spacers so I could use my e-maxx input gear shaft and it works like a charm. Now I can finally run some slip without melting anything... and can have all the replacement pads I need. youhou... take a look at the pics. Sorry I didn't take any while building it and dont want to take it off again. lol

I like. Thats about the 3rd or 4th I've seen- Im suprized more people dont try it, especially since alot of people moan about how rubbish the stock unit is, or how expensive/rare the strobe is.
I've recently won a GorillaMaxx motor mount like that one, and I do have a spare input shaft too- I may take this route too, only with a GorillaMaxx single speed tranny (have the coupler, just need to get the cover plate too). |
i made one for my friend and i have one for my self too it works well for him on his two airplane motor maxx. and i use the savage setup on mine because it has less wobble.

does the savage slipper work on the e-maxx tranny?
