I just got last set of hop ups for my E Revo. im totally finished with it. Well not now though. I plugged in my 4s lipo into my mamba maxx esc and it was cogging really bad. So i unpluged it and started to reprogram it and i smelled sumthin hott like plastic so i checked the temp and right as i did it made a crazy noise. Now it wont even blink or anything when i plug in the battery.

So now im going to have to choose between a MGM or a Quark. I would really like sum first hand information about both of these ESC's. Thanks

The MM Neu combo did that to my firt MM too. The MM doesn't like the Neu motors.

You are going the right direction with the other speed controllers. Both have pluses and minuses. ead up around here. There is tons of info on both controllers.

that sucks man. i was thinking of buying a neu motor and running it on my mm. but now i think i well just keep my 9xl.

Did you disable the BEC? The MM is only good to 3s unless you pull the red wire!

i think he did cause i think i can see his castle bec wires goign to the deans plug on the esc.

Yea it really does suck. I was hopeing to be done with this project so i can start on my brushless muggy and jato. But no sumthin always has to happen in the rc world. lol But yea my BEC is hooked up corectly everything worked until i tried to reprogram it.
But oh well a MGM or Quark will work better anyways i can hook up more cells. i want to run a 5s or 6s (NEED MORE SPEED)
