Velineon ESC?
 

How are these ESC?, are they better then the Mamba Max, BK Warrior 9920? Does anyone have anything good to say about these. The price is kind of high ( $300 ) compared to the MM and Warrior.

I have one and it didn't perform like it should. I have a Mamba Max and it is good. I also have a few BK warrior controllers and they are all good too, but not as good as the Mamba Max when it comes to fune tuning it. BTW the Velineon controller is around $169 and I saw one for $109 on Ebay.

The mamba max esc is the best out of the 3 you listed. Te traxxas esc is not very good, mine got very hot, plus it is not as adjustable as the mm.

I paid less than $200 for my 9920.... I like it just because it can handle 6S.... Mine is performing very well... so is my Mamba Maxx.... I can't say much about the vileneon, I've never used one before.. but if you're gonna use 4S or under.. get the MM..

The traxxas esc is good on a Velenion motor, I have not tryed it with other motors yet. The Vxl setup is stronger than a mamba setup, runs cooler and feels a bit better, in my opinion than a defaulted MM (I have not messed with the MM yet to see if it would, or couls feel better than the VXL to me)

does anybody know if the vxl esc can run a 4 pole motor(neu)?
