anyone ever opened up one? the wifes looks like the battery has puffed up.. It is swollen .just wondering if you can change battery or throw it away? it still works just swole.

holy crap. how the hell did that happen? did you use your lipo charger and charge it up? lol

anyways ive heard of people opening it up and replacing with a bigger mah battery so it can definetly be done

i've never had to replace anything in any of my ipods (i've had many, many - but sell them to get the newest ones, so mine never get to 'old age', lol) but i have friends who do replace anything that goes bad over time. screens, batteries, wheels... you name it.

I replaced the battery in my mini. I gave it to my pops though. I have an 80GB video and a 1GB Nano for my workouts. Let me know if you need help.
