brushless motor questions-

1.I converted my t-maxx to brushless and need a bigger motor that came w/ the mamba kit .... one that won' break the bank ...recomendations

2. how do I wire in a cooling fan for my speed controller to keep it happy

3. I am running 72/18 for gearing right now .... good , bad or can be better, recommendations?

4. I have noticed that some 1/8 scale guys are using Feigao motors, which would you recommend for my mbx-5 using the mm speed controller

Thanks for your advise.....GO FAST!!

I have Brushless T-maxx.. my gearing is 22/60-66

I'm using a feigao 15L, powering off of 6S1P LiPo, and 8S1P LiPo.. .. it's very fast on 8S.. and Nitro speeds with 6S 2200mAh 20C... 6 or 8 A123 is very powerfull..

For your Tmaxx with an MM, I would say the 8xl is good for 12cells, or maybe the 9xl for 4s lipo. If your MM is an older model, it will support 14 cells with a little luck. See HERE for wiring diagrams, and HERE for gearing info; aim for about 35-40mph.

THANKS FOR THE REPLY
1.WHERE DO i GET THE 1/8 BUGGY GEARS FOR MY T-MAXX AS WELL AS DIFF CASES
2.FROM THE PICS. ON YOUR WEB. THE TRUCK LOOKS SICK...HOW FAST?
3. FOR MY MBX-5 DOES THE NOVAK 4.5HV KIT SOUND GOOD?

1. Turn your capslock off.
2. Mike is the only person who sells them-HERE. For cases, you can either use the FLM hybrids- HERE, or the UE Ultralite cases- HERE you will need two sets, and some 8x10x0.2 shims.
3. My truck? Sick it is, but fast it isnt. I'd say about 30mph tops with the Hvmaxx 6.5 I have. It will be alot faster once I get a new BL system next year...
4. If you already have the Hv4.5 for the buggy, then its well worth a try, but otherwise I would recommend reading around the forum for more ideas.
