New esc???
1 Attachment(s)
Well its been a long time since Ive been here but I got the BRUSHLESS BUG again and now I want to get my revo running again.
After cooking my nasty bk controler (got wet) opps Its time for a new one and I need your help.I made the misstake of listening to chris fine ONCE and thats all it took so now I need a new BRUSHLESS ESC and heres my setup... stock revo chassis (just modded) nemesis blue XLT-1 motor two lipo packs 2s 3700mah 7.4volts 20c The packs were wired normal from the packs but the old esc had an extra wire soldered in and it worked so I was planning to wire the new esc the same way. ultimate BEC I have modded the chassis so I can use either tranny Emax or stock revo(revo trans has been locked to only one gear) I dont want to go crazy overboard again on cash and all I need is a esc but I have a few ideas.... NOVAK GTB velocity 5.5 system (can get rid of the FINE motor) Mamba MAX esc but it says its for 1/10 scale???? quark monster 125b (i have two smaller brushless quark esc`s in my hydro boat and they were hard to set up, so im leary about buying another quark esc. let me know what you think and steer me in the right path again. |
The Mamba Max ESC would do fine for you. Disable the internal BEC and you're set to go.
Do you know what the KV is of the XLT-1 motor? |
The xlt 1 is a 6xl feigao, me thinks! Will be a handful on 4s, but the MM should be able to handle it. You will want to run the timing on the lowest setting and the punch control at 50% or lower. The quark is an excellent esc but it does get hot, case design is not the best. The novak system will not produce enough power.
