He said he needed inspiration..

It's not that hard to finish it;

get 2 UE 8mm cups, got two cups for the piniongear of the diffs, measure distance, shoot mike an email on what length of dogbones you need, and you are good to go..

fishmasterdan 01.06.2008 12:06 PM

I have the cups. I did not know Mike makes bones that is good news.

David;
Stress on the motor?? Are you talking about the mount?

david lamontagn 01.06.2008 12:26 PM

No! forget it. After think twice, it's same thing that any 1/8 scale conversion with center diff, where the motor pinion directly drive the spur:whistle:

Excuse me, i've don't realy take time to weak-up my mind before to post:lol:

Hyper7

I too have a Hyper7 with an unfinished conversion. I started to set it up with an Align 600xl in a regular pinion to center diff configuration..The mount is done but I need a 6s battery and a controller that can take it. I just got sidetracked with too many other projects. If I ever do get it done, it will be a real screamer I'm sure.

brushlessboy16 01.06.2008 08:38 PM

what motor is that?

fishmasterdan 01.07.2008 08:56 PM

HXT 50-55A 400kv

brushlessboy16 01.07.2008 10:48 PM

and the outdrives on the motor?

fishmasterdan 01.08.2008 08:10 PM

There is no out drives. It is the shaft in the motor which is 8mm and fits the drive cups of an 1/8 scale buggy.

brushlessboy16 01.09.2008 07:44 AM

oh i was wrong, i got confused with outdrives and drive cups, thanks for the help

fishmasterdan 01.13.2008 10:06 AM

Well;
I am going to get rid of it. I have no intrest in finishing it. Anyone want it before it goes to ebay. I am going to throw in a 5s 4000 mah battery.

Dan
