E Rustler/Stampede Ext Arm CVD

OK I bought the CVD's to go with my FLM Chassis Kit and I ran into a problem with the stock transmission case. The inside "dogbone" housing is too big. It wont fit inside the hole to completely seat on the drive shaft.

Is this due to incompatibility with the XL-1 transmission case? Or is it possible I got the wrong piece in my kit?

That cup is the best cup for the driveshaft kit. Reason being it gives more contact on the shaft, to keep the cup from wobbling.

However with a stock plastic tranny (includes all of them) requires modification.
Our tranny requires no modifications.

What needs to be done is open up the hole in the tranny to allow room for the shoulder on the cup.

If you do not want to do any modification send me your address (jamie@fastlanemachine.com) and I will send you a cup that will work with no modifications.

I have been recieving some feedback over this and will be updating the kits to include the drive cups that work with no mod.
