charger/battery questions.....
 

hey guys
im begening to look for a battery and charger for my revo.
i am going to run a mm esc and a 9 xl motor with a 18 tooth pinion. i have seen the new 3 cells from venom, leaning towards that....but the charger has me stumped. should i get a simple lipo charger or should i just bite the bullet and get a triton 2?

would the 3s be enough for a revo, i dont need too much power as the truck will be raced

3s is not adequate for a 9xl. A 7xl will run on 3s. 8xl on 4s seems to be the motor of choice for most e-revo owners.

I'll be converting to lipo myself in the next couple months. I plan on getting the Hyperion EOS0610i and a couple True RC 4s packs and maybe a 5s or two for speed runs and vulgar displays of power.
