I need (2) A123 cells
 

I am looking to buy (2) A123 2300 mah cells. Anyone have any that they would sell me?

I believe Maxamps would sell them individually for about $20 each... Rgds

I thought there was someone on here that had been using them for a while and that maybe they could spare a couple?

I was looking at those. They were discussed in the A123 section on RC groups. The A123 rep claims that they are not A123 and have a reduced C rating.

Has anyone here used these Yuntong cells?

If they are not A123 would it be safe to mix them into a A123 pack?

different capacity, voltage, and c rating than A123's. I would say no, it would not be safe to mix them with A123's.
