Well I may be picking up a bone stock emaxx for pretty cheap, and currently the funds don't allow for much modification, and I plan to keep it basically stock as my xxx-t provides enough power.

Now i need to know what are the basic hop-ups, just for running 12 cells that will make life a little bit easier. I'm guess cvd's and possibly the g-maxx tranny and idler? After that I think it shall be good enough.

I hear that aluminum bulkheads are a necessary modification to keep from spending too much on stock replacements.

With the g-maxx single speed, you won't need aftermarket idlers unless you severly up the power. Cvds, either(well, maybe in the rear eventually). Aluminum bulkheads are a necessity if you crash at all (the stock plastic bulks are pretty weak-you could wait until you break these and then upgrade, though).

I'd agree with Mike on the bulkheads. If you jump at all, then these will break very quickly. My rear bulks broke twice at the bit where the shock tower screws on, I've got greatassemblyrc bulkheads now and havnt had a problem since.
You may also find that, even with the power of the stock titans, the diffs may go (especially the four screws that hold the ring gear to the cup). The Fastlane 3mm diffs cups and ring gear will solve this problem.

Basic hop up's would be high torq steering servo and servo saver. That tranny isn't neccesary to get her running, servo is.(stock servo & saver are way to weak)

Alum. bulk's would be a second part to replace when broken.

Rule of thumb: don't replace what you don't break. Saves you allot of money, allthough some part's look cool and all if your on a budget you should stay w/ the basic's.

Depending on how you drive you may need som new Arm. Maybe RPM. I had a minor crash on a stock emaxx and the front bulk and arms snapped.
