Fastest brushless setup advice

Hi, I am new to the site and this is my first. What I really need to know if what is the best motor and ESC I can run together? I was looking at the Neu line but I noticed this site only sells the 1515 1.5D which is 2700 KV and I was looking at the Neu 1515 1D which is 4100kv. This will be going in an all out electric revo I am building and I have built about 7 of them so far. Motors for them were mostly Novak HV 4.5's and I would really like something far beyond that. Every bit of info you can give me would be awsome, like what kind of ESC, Motor combo. Best batteries to use, and what experience you've had with these set-ups. Money's not A problem because I am selling 3 E-revo to build this one. Also when are the Neu's going to be back in stock. Thanks for any info.

KV is relative to voltage as to the RPM it will produce. A 5700KV at 7.4v will be slower than a 4600kv at 11.1v.

Most motors tend to run well with a top rpm of 35-40Krpm. That in mind if you want to use a 4100KV neu, you'll want to run it on 2-3S (7.4-11.1v), most guys are going with lower KV motors and higher voltage batt's. This produces the same watts of energy without the high amps that cause heat.

At some point the power you can put into the revo will exceed it's ability to remain upright. The drivetrain will need upgrades and the whole project becomes a pain to keep alive. Not bashing the revo at all, just saying at some point you can have too much power.

6S (22.2V) and a 1700KV motor (neu 1515 2.5D?) would net you more power than you can drive most of the time anyhow.

Just my 2cents :)

Money's no object eh?

I'd go with a 10S setup and a MGM 12032 ESC for starters. Pick the biggest neu you can find and aim for about 40K rpm. That'll probably run you around $1,000 right there, and you're just getting started.

Whats the max voltage (or close to max) you should run on the Neu 1.5d and what about batteries can it handle a 6s lipo? Also does anyone have an answer to the question about when they will be back in stock?

The 1.5y can handle 6s because it has 1500KV. The 1.5d is 2700KV so you should run it on 3s geared normal to high or 4s geared low to normal. You can send Mike an email about when they will be in stock.
