Battery Reccomendations

You always here about people saying that when running brushless motors and controller's, the right batteries make all the difference in the world. Now, currently I run Trinity matched sayno 2400's, but after 3 years of use, I figure its time to step it up, and with all the new packs it seems to be a world of decision making.:P:

So, I went out and bought 12 non-matched gp3700's. Hopefully these batteries are up to par in your minds? I also purchased a Novak Ionic charger (the new one) from a buddy who bought two by accident from tower. It looks like a decent charger to me, just like to hear you opinions.

Also, with the old 2400's, should I just trash them, or resolder up some 7 cell packs? Thanks

Unmatched GP3700s should be fine.
How many 2400mah cells do you have, and what vehicle/motor would you want to use them in?

I run all the cells in my Lehner Basic 4200 / MGM 80 xxx-t. I have about 18 Nicad 2400's, although a few of them are pretty shotty. I figure I could make one decent 7-8 cell pack out of.

See if you can possibly make a 9cell pack! That would give some unseen (for you at least) performance.

don't know about the charger, but I purchased some unmatched trinity gp 3300's off mike (2x 7 cell pks) and the performance is v. good for speed and runtime.
