axial 28 spec 1s in tmaxx

can you put an axial 28spec 1s in a tmaxx with the tmaxx clutch, flywheel, and cluch bell

No, the 28 is a 21 sized block and won't fit the Tmaxx mount. Its a wider block - 1.45" hole spacing, side to side versus 1.2" stock spacing. You'll have to use somebody's big block adapter.

but can i still put the clutch and flywheel from the 2.5 engine to the .28

you can but you have to cut the crankshaft to the same length as the t-maxx and then you are stuck usisng that motor for a t-maxx. I prefer to use any 1/8 scale clutch and flywheel(much stronger) and change out my spur gear to monster gt spur gears, but that only works on black tranny's not the new grey ones, but someone here can tell you how to get mod1(the pitch of 1/8 clutchbells and mgt spurs) on the gray trannys

thats what i plan on doing putting it on my tmaxx that is the only truck i have

i still reccomend upgrading to 1/8 scale, especially with the power of that .28, I run an sts .28 in my basher t-maxx, with monster gt clutch and spurs, they last much longer than 32pitch traxxas crap, and then you don't have to cut your crank, nobody likes cut crank

They're talking about an Axial nitro engine.
