Diff? Shims??
Problem after problem. And still another!
I'm running the FLM diff cups with the integy Diff Cases. My rear diff had an acident awhile back and I somehow machined the inside of the diff case with a loose screw from the aluminum cup. Not alot but enough. Upon re-installation the rear diff is really loose. There is now alot of play with the diff as it can move side to side. Is there some type of shimes I can throw in there to eliminate this wobble? If so what size and where can I get them? thanks! I think this is the last thing I need to fix before I can get a 15 minutes run time with a $2800 e-maxx without something going wrong. Even with stock titants something happens!! lol. :C: |
Robinson makes some shims that will work in the diff. You basically need a 6x8 shim(or shims) of various thickness to get the diff snug, but without binding.
