I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to mount proline tires on a different type of rim,.....im looking for something a little different than the normal velo's, and i have found the following rim...but it doesn't have a normal place for the bead of the tire.....any suggestions....

The Cen rims dont fit the standard Maxx size tires. They are larger diameter than normal rims. Possibly they will fit the new Proline LP tires but I havent tried them?

HPI has some rims that look like that. I know I liked the Q6s from them. Try looking on ebay for some.
