hop-ups:
MM7700Kv system
Trackpower 2s LiPo
FLM extended arm kit
FLM front and rear shock towers
FLM tranny case
FLM front caster blocks
FLM extended arm CVD kit
RPM front and rear barring carrier's with DTX and TRX sealed ball bearrings
Origanal swami bar
AE 3" rear titanium tie rods (FLM sent me 80MM front and rear tie rods so i was in a hurry and got the AE ones becouse i had to get it ready for a trip i took.
A little costom part i made to keep the on/off switch atached to the ESC.
TRX 2.8" black crome wheels and 30 series dirt hawgs. I haven't gotin them togather yet becouse the tire seems not to fit in the bead of the tire. and help thare would be helpfull!

Looks good.

But I would move the receiver to the top plate, and move the ESC to the receiver location.

Nice. How are the temps with the 7700? I ran one in an AE RC10 T3 and thermalled it a bunch of times until i learned about gearing.

MTBikerTim 01.22.2008 02:03 AM

What timing are you running the 7700 on? I have a friend who is having a few problems with temps on the 7700 in a very similar setup. It's geared as low as it will go too and both the esc and motor are getting very hot.

edit: No he has the 6900 and he has temp problems with that. How does the 7700 survive?

A RC Dude 01.22.2008 02:08 PM

snelle: what exactly would that do?

MTbiker: the timing is on low and punch controle is at 50% sence 0% broke the planitary diff gears onece.

the 7700 actually seems to do pritty well. it got WAY too hot before i got the tranny case though! but ever sence it's been around 130 or so in cold waether and 146 is as hot as i've seen it get sence the tranny case. the huge heat sink(tranny case) really helped a lot! although i still think it'd be better with a lower kv motor in it.

I think you should solder on 4mm bullet plugs onto the mamba and drive it!

Arct1k 01.22.2008 02:33 PM

Oh just 2c - get an rpm bumper.... it is a rustler saver

LOL that wouldn't work too well! it can hardly turn wile on the gas hard anyway! but that has happend with my t-maxx b4! the gas on the remote got jumed in behind the little bar so it got stuck at like 150% throttle(if posible) for a good 5-10 secs! the maxx ran right into a bush at 40 or so mph and whent flipping right when i got the trigger out. so i still didn't crash it! lol

well, where i ran it, thare reall not too much to hit(as in trees and all) allthough i have landed a jump on it a time or 2!

A RC Dude 01.26.2008 11:38 AM

i got to run it yesterday for about 10 mins till it got dark! and i managed to do a few things to it lol. i lost the screw that held the front left camber link on, somthing happend to the diff that made it lock up (i can still run it but i cant turn the car at all on road, and i did something to an FLM part. i'm guessing the system's too powerfull or somthing becouse that's the 2nd diff i'm messed up and i didn't even get the rear wheels more than an inch off the ground (alltho i did WAY too many wheelies! I really need the FLM extended chassies!!!!!!!
