Hyperion 0610I Dual Output Charger

What do people think of these? I looking around at bishop and saw this. I want one is all I can say. To me it looks awesome but maybe I'm missing something.

My next question is how would you power this thing? A whole bunch of PC power supplies all wired in series.

They are pretty cool if you need to charge 7-12s packs. The packs have to be the same types though, so you can't mix and match chemistry or capacities when charging.

Wow, 360w power limit! And 11v to 28v DC input range. Nice. You can charge two 6s packs at over 7A each simultaneously!

Man, a couple more features and this would be a killer setup:

- Ability to adjust the CC/CV threshold manually from 3.6v up to 4.2v per cell on 0.1v increments. I like a 4.1v/cell threshold for cell longevity. Don't know how much extra life I'd get but it probably does help, and I can't even notice the loss in runtime.

- Ability to charge 12s as ONE pack instead of two seperate packs. Still use the dual LBA thing though.

I just read on another forum a guy recommending 2 standard 610i as they can do everything that charger can do plus some. 500w of charge power and more flexibility (independent charging) plus linked mode for 12s packs.

That's another option. More power too. I read more on it and it's really 180w + 180w. So, even if you only use one output, you are limited to 180w.

which sounds more like the lower model doubled not the 610

I believe 180w is that the 1210i is limited to.
