T-P balancer only beeping?

A little confused here. My TP 205v is just letting out a constant series of beeps after I plug it into my MaxAmps lipos. The LEDs are NOT lighting at all, flash or steady. The instruction sheet only mentions the possibility of imbalance greater that .03 volt, but that's accompanied by flashing of the status LED, and the cell LEDs. They make no mention of just beeping.

This combo has allways worked for me. I also plugged the balancer into another pack and it's working normally. This particular pack (the one I'm having the problem with) is reading 15.5 volts at its present state of charge. Any ideas?

Is this a 5s pack? Do you have a meter so you can manually measure each cell? Check the connections too as they may have become dirty and the balancer can't read that wire.

No sorry, it's a 4s pack. To check each cell I read at the tap wire for that cell and the pack negative?

No you should read the difference between each pair of adjacent tap wires.
