Another plus for the KD direct drive is having reverse. Just be careful not to have it hit to hard or your in for some $$$. Make sure you program your esc curve to come into reverse a little slowly....

I've also noticed that you need to have the slipper pretty tight for the big motors. When you start to coil bind the little spring it will unevenly load the spur gear and cause it to spin in warped...

I found that sometimes transmissions and spurs dont spin perfectly round.(due to wear and high power) Always turn the spur a few times after setting to make sure there isn't a tight spot. I also like...
