I've also used these shocks with the Raven dual rate springs. Very smooth but even though the shaft is 4mm it's not as strong as the stock Flux shock. I bent plenty of those shafts before going back...

I can drop the center diff out the bottom of my truck and it is a big plus. If you move the motor to the side you will able to get it a lot lower and fit something beside it to help counter balance....
