After removing .NET 1.1 from my Windows XP...
After removing .NET 1.1 from my Windows XP machine, Castle Link became unresponsive when the Mamba was connected as was the case on my Windows 2000 laptop. Reinstalling .NET 1.1 resolved the issue.

From the video, it looks like the black connector is bad / failing and making intermittent contact. Try resoldering the bullet connectors on both sides of the connection.
