Also this affects the output of the battery....In other words;
a 5000mAh 25c will yield 125Amps while a 6000mAh 25c will yield 150Amps

At top speed...the 9xl SHOULD run cooler than your 7xl set up due to lower motor rpm. The problem is cogging at low speeds. A 54/24 is only a 2.25 to 1 spur/pinion ratio..which i think is kinda rough...

but remember the max rpm of a motor is still limited by the quality of construction and size...
