I just looked at the pic of the evader again. It's just an electric version of the buggy. For some reason, I thought it was a conversion.
Why are you looking to the 9L? A 540 series motor would be way too much motor for such a small/light vehicle. You said that you are looking for a cooler running setup, but running a 540 motor in a vehicle that small will make it very difficult to get it geared properly. I really doubt that you would be able to prevent an undergearing situation and undergearing a motor (severely in this situation I suspect) will cause the motor to over heat.
Maybe you should consider the Mamba 5700kv motor to run with that 3S lipo that you have. That should put you right at about 60K rpms and you'll still have lots of gearing options. If you want to go even faster, you could try a 4S pack with a 4600kv motor. Stay away from the higher kv motors. They are only good if you're limited to 2S lipo. When you run the hotter motors on more than 2S lipo, they get to be really finicky about the gearing and everything will run hot.
