Well, it depends on what you are looking for. The Quark is nice, but it does have limits. It is listed as being able to take 6s lipo, but experience from others here says it doesn't work well. But, it can take 5s lipo or 16 cells no problem. As I mentioned, it also heats up a bit. But, on the flipside, it is really silky smooth even at low speed and can run outrunner and multi-pole inrunner motors.
There are other ESC alternatives, such as the MGM and BK Warriors. Each has their own advantages/disadvantages. Then there's the small Mamba Max ESC, which is really nice for the money and is rated up to 100A. Very nice programming on the PC via USB and really small. If you were running a "cooler" motor (like a 9XL or higher) and 12 cells or 4s lipo, I would recommend that (even though some will say 14 cells is OK), as long as you use a small fan to cool it.
