Mighty: Yeah, by "Mike" I meant the site owner. Sorry, I just assume everyone knows Mike. :) Anyway, it was done on a CNC.
The only problem with making the motor mount seperate from the diff mount is that there usually is some chassis flex, and when that happens, the mesh changes. When you make a diff mount with an integrated motor mount, the mesh stays consistent, which is VERY important for the life of the spurs! But, if that is working for you, by all means keep on running it!
