no mods, I think that you have taken that truck far beyond what I did. It looks stock. You also have it running to its potential. I guarantee you that if you took it out to a construction site and a guy with a nitro version showed up, you'd run circles around him.
If you want a truck that can stand some speed and still do a bit of off roading, perhaps a Jato should be your next project. Really, if you get into a truggy, all you will gain is some speed. You will sacrifice a lot of versatility and ground clearance. A truggy would be great if you were racing, but since you aren't, I don't know what to tell you.
I know that I still run my MGT conversion much more than I do my truggy, which is faster.
You seem to be having the same dilemma that I often do. What to do next?
