Yes, I plan to do some great winter driving here in Canada. My modded Quark has a lot of surface area, and thermal mass, so it shouldn't thermal running with a shower cap, or what I use, those Glad elasto covers, which look like shower caps.

Yes, motor doesn't need to be covered, it will run cool at least!

Batteries, yeah, just get some electrical tape and cover the ends, a little water don't hurt it, especially when it's distilled water (from snow).

Just make sure you don't have a Feigao motor, and spin the heck out of your tires, you will very quickly over heat the motor and destroy it.
