**DeWalt Pack Wiring Question -** 10.09.2007, 04:56 PM

I am ordering a DeWalt 36v pack form ebay. I will be chopping it in half to make two 5s packs to run in parallel in my 8xl/MGM16018 EMaxx.

As of right now, I am going to leave the battery tabs it comes with, and leave them in a side x side config.

My Question is, do I need to solder on a Balancer tap?? And if so, how do I do that?

I have a Hyperion 5i AC/DC charger with a LBA10 balancer. I guess I need two of these. Is this the right adapter I need? And where do I solder on the wires?
