turn on radio hold FT, then turn on controller
after `10 secs, it beep 3x, then go FB for 1 beep, then neutral and 1 beep
when i go back to neutral, i get 2 beeps, so i dont know where i am or what it is doing.
normally not such a big deal, it runs, but with issues with it braking and backing up on its own and then i now have the 2s pack i want to run

My MGM 12012 controllers also beep 2 times when going back to neutral. I just figured it was a typo in the manual and decided to go through with the programming anyway. Every change I've tried in the programming seems to work.
Essentially, what I do is turn it on holding full throttle on the radio, wait for it to beep, push full brake, wait for it to beep, put the radio in neutral, wait for it to beep. I've pretty much started to ignore how many times it's beeping, as long as it IS beeping during programming. Once I'm into the programming mode, I press full brake once to set car mode, then full throttle to save the setting and move to the next.
The last test I have to perform with the controller will hopefully happen tonight. I will use my ICE charger to discharge my 2s lipo to about 6.3 volts, then attach it to the MGM and run it to see if it cuts out at 6 while programmed for 2s.
Lastly, when I was programming an MGM 12012 for my Jato, I had a problem with needing the throttle on the radio to be in reverse due to the brake servo. I couldn't program the radio in reverse, and when I programmed it in normal, it would not work once I put it in reverse. I ended up trying other servos I had laying around until I found one that worked correctly in normal on my radio. Make sure you're not programming in normal and switching to reverse for actual operation.
