Yes, it's fairly high voltage, equal to 6s lipo. The 1512 motor is probably only drawing max 45 amps on the low traction surface, but it's different... kinda of a constant current draw from constant wheel spin.

The Quark is a new one, I got it from AAngel... he modded it before he sold it to me. Yes, it works great too with the low temps of -10*C (14F), and the heatsink mount it's on. I have never tried 8s A123... i think it would most likely cog like everyone else is saying happens on 6s lipo on the Quark. About the BEC, doesn't the Kool Flight UBEC go to 45volts? IIRC?

The Badlands are doing great in snow, i was surprised how well they grab, but just enough to still allow for some nice drifting. Also, after a run, once dried off, the rubber is so clean that it becomes sticky, very sticky... when you put it onto a clean surface and pick it up, you can feel it grabbing into the surface.
