The mod one pinions won't work, the Tekno motor mount sits too far back. You will still have wheelies with the clutch, it is a very nice system, plenty of "pop". But if you decide to go with a direct drive setup you can still get the other parts of the Tekno kit separately and use Mike's RC-Monster motor mount. Good luck
