Maybe for bashing. I was also thinking about getting a set, but then I scored another chassis off ebay for under $10 from one of the chop shop sellers. I'd rather just get another chassis for around the same price.
wax.... lol... It would make your chassis touchably smooth too.... like a baby's butt. Now you can kiss your chassis without the fear of getting stuble burn.
Seriously though, its not a bad idea. kinda like waxing your snowboard or skis.
