I would say that if you are going to run 5s that you could use the quark 80 or a mgm 90 amp esc to save some money. The align motor will not spin very fast on 4s so you will have some high gearing, and most likely need an esc with over 100amp rating. I ran my emaxx on 4400 5s 20c lipos and they stayed cool, as did the quark 65 and the motor. It was geared for around 40mph.
