This is true, but has anyone noticed, that all human powered vehicles are overdriven (basic transport, not hill climbers and such). I noticed it once helping assemble a bike for a nephew, the ratios we use with our legs would be considered overdrive for most mechanical vehicles. I know weight does work into it, but just saying its impressive what the human body can do.
