I'm not sure if that firmware is shared with the MM also, but I expect the MMM to perform as specified up to 6s.
I've read where people are asking for higher voltage capability (up to 12s).. why? I just bought two 6s 3700mah packs on the cheap from United Hobbies (which work great by the way) but was still set back $270. Spending any more for batteries in my opinion would warrant buying a much costlier MGM or Shulze controller.
I think CC hit the nail on the head as far as price and performance. At 6s, overall system efficiency should be pretty good. I think a 6s 4000mah pack and the lowest kv motor in the line-up (~1550kv/v) would be enough to give you 15-minute main performance all day with no worries.
I know this is all considering that the system runs as expected. For $300, and say.. another $200 for a decent battery I think you have a viable switch from a nitro race set-up.
